What a Washout April Has Been!
April is the start of our summer season when we generally expect customers to begin branching out to their back gardens for parties and events. That's not been the case this month though with all the rain we have seen here in Gloucester over the last few weeks!
Fortunately, we have a listing of local venues to view on our website for customers who still wish to book a venue party and not risk the turn of the weather at the moment.
For customers who are brave enough, we are happy to provide inflatables for outdoor hires, and several units in our fleet come with a shower cover included such as our standard A frame children's themed bouncy castles. You could also consider one of our disco domes or inflatable pubs and nightclubs which are completely enclosed and shielded from the elements.
You will see in our Adverse Weather Policy that wind is the main weather risk in our industry is wind, and specifically wind over 24mph. Rain however, whilst not desirable when party planning, it is not as dangerous or risky as wind. In light showers, customers can continue to use the inflatables, we would simple advise caution on mount and dismount on the front inflatable step. When the shower has subsided, the inflatable bed can be dried off with a towel and if left on, the unit will dry itself faster though the constant air flow. In heavier rain, it may be necessary to turn off the electric blower and protect the electrics from the moisture until the rain stops.
